Raised in a home as a first generation US citizen, Rob was taught from an early age never to waste. His grandmother would use his discarded toys to create jewelry and Christmas ornaments. His mother, an artist in her own right, valued recycling long before the green movement. Honoring that tradition, Rob uses the damaged canvas and excess paint from a project to create works tailored to the material which is available. While the style may vary, all these works are of re-purposed material.
