Rob began his art career in 2010 with pointillism. Working as a college administrator, Rob would often help students in a mentor and counselor role. He used pointillism practice as a form of self-therapy. Rob’s pointillism work has amazed thousands of viewers, and built a strong foundation for the observation skills and color technique he has employed in more recent works. In each of these pieces Rob never sketches an outline beforehand. Additionally, he uses complimentary colors rather than have his pieces incorporate the color black for shading.
